About La TURCA Tango Marathon

  • Registrations for the Marathon will open on date TBC

  • We have a pre-registration system to ensure a balance between leaders & followers.

  • If you register with a partner you will have priority, otherwise you will be held in a waiting list until we can find you a partner.

  • During 4 days a total of 7 milongas with 33 hours of pure dancing!

FAQs

Do I need a partner to register to the Marathon ?

We know it can be difficult some times to register with a partner, specially when coming from abroad but we really recomend you to try since these registrations will have priority, otherwise you will be held in a waiting list until we can find you a partner. Hopefully won't be too long your confirmation.

Can I register and buy the marathon pass immediately?

You will have to do first your registration and them wait till is approved. When the registrations get approved we send a confirmation email with the information about how to book the marathon pass. Registration with a partner get approved much faster. We aim not to keep people waiting for longer than 10 days to get the confirmation. It is always good idea to check your junk/spam just in case our reply goes there!

Do I need a visa to come to Turkey?

To enter Turkey, your passport must have an ‘expiry date’ at least 150 days after the date you arrive and at least 1 blank page.

In case you required a Visa we can issue you a supporting letter for your visa application with the confirmation that you are attending the Tango Marathon.

When is the Local milonga’s Circuit ?

For the ones arriving early in Istanbul, we will have a Circuit of Local Milongas starting on Friday 5th June till Wednesday 10th June. Please click here for further information.
